Conyers Book Festival – Come join us!

Conyers Book Festival – Come join us!

I’m preparing for the Conyers Book Festival hosted by the Book Cellar on April 19 in Conyers, Georgia.

I have to add a few items to my booth. The venue is a street festival, and thus each author needs to supply their tent, table, and other items. (Some great tips from Publishing BFF.)

I’ve scoured the Greater Knoxville area looking for a deal on canopy tents but to no avail. I’m concerned about wind as well as rain, and the big box stores had little to offer (Acadmey, Walmat, Costco, Dicks, etc.). I ended up using Amazon and ABC Canopy, which included pole weights to accommodate the wind.

I’m also adding a table runner, which caught my eye at another author’s booth in the Sevierville Appalachina WordFest. Here’s the mockup that I’m hoping to order soon.

Table runner for WarpedMinds booth.

The WarpedMinds logo was pixelating at this scale (30 in. x 80 in.). So, I had to vectorize both the brain and the weblink. Additionally, the font type (Montserrat) for the weblink was not available in the editing tool for the runner.

I’m planning to use either VistaPrint or BannerBuzz for printing the runner.

One final item that I ordered is some sewing weights to weigh down papers and other items on my table. Again, I’m concerned about the wind. I ordered through Amazon.

I’m looking forward to this opportunity to further my hobby.
